Who runs the Club?

I’m Kelly, an Embroidery Designer and Tutor and I specialise in teaching children (and Grown-Ups!) how to embroider their own artwork. I run regular Sewing Club Classes privately and in Schools. I am fully insured with an enhanced DBS certificate.

Sewing Club Projects

Every half term we try a different type of sewing project. This includes learning new stitches, using different fabric types and changing from 2D to 3D projects. All sewing projects are based on the principle that we design them ourselves on paper first. This way, children learn to develop their design skills as well as their sewing skills.

They will finish each half term with their own unique keepsakes to bring home.

This Term’s Projects-

Summer 1- We will be sewing our padded felt keychains, using animal or insect designs.

Summer 2- We will be embroidering our own summer themed drawings, using lots of new stitches and bringing them home framed ready for display in our home or to gift to loved ones.

Places are limited to 8 pupils per session and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
