Kelly, an Embroidery Designer and Tutor will be running a lunchtime Sewing Club at the school next term for Years 3, 4, 5 & 6.

Every half term we try a different type of sewing project. This includes learning new stitches, using different fabric types and changing from 2D to 3D projects. All sewing projects are based on the principle that we design them ourselves on paper first. This way, children learn to develop their design skills as well as their sewing skills.

They will finish each half term with their own unique keepsakes to bring home.

This Term’s Projects-

Spring 1 & 2- We will be learning how to use Applique to design our own personalised badges, keyrings and bunting using felt and school uniform.

Places are limited to 10 pupils per session and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If there is enough interest for 2 sessions, the club will also run on a Thursday.
