Children’s Sewing Class- Friday 5th April

Date: Friday 5th April

Time: 12.00pm – 2.00pm

Venue: Moorish Coffee Shop, 467 Buxton Road, Great Moor. SK2 7HE

Is your child keen to learn how to sew?

Are they creative and would like to learn how to stitch their own designs?

Then my Sewing Club Classes have been designed with them in mind!

Eater Holiday Class Project

We will be learning how to design and embroider our own Easter themed decorations. I will have suggested designs of a Chick, Bunny, Egg and Flower to inspire them, but children are free to come up with their own unique designs!

If you fancy continuing with designing and sewing more decorations at home, I will have small kits for sale on the day too.

Who runs the class?

I’m Kelly, an Embroidery Designer and Tutor and I specialise in teaching children (and Grown-Ups!) how to embroider their own artwork.

I’ve been embroidering children’s drawings and loved one’s handwriting on my embroidery machine at home since 2014.

In 2022, I decided to venture out and started teaching classes at various venues in Stockport for Adults and Children. I now run regular Sewing Club Classes privately and in Schools. I am fully insured with an enhanced DBS certificate.

Recommended Age-

The recommended age for children attending my Holiday Sewing Club Classes is 7+ years old

Booking for more than 1 Child- If you are booking more than 1 child onto a Class, you can add additional Children by amending the Quantity in the box below where you type their name and age.

Please note-

This session is a group activity for up to 8 children sewing in total. It is not individual tuition so children must be comfortable learning in a group setting. Parents are encouraged to stay on the premises and enjoy a drink, cake or breakfast upstairs in the main Coffee Shop area, but you are welcome to drop off as long as you provide me with your emergency contact details. The class will be held in the basement level meeting room, with direct access to a toilet.
